RIFLE REST is a V-shaped mounting accessory that is manufactured with molded rubber over a plastic V.  In the base of the V there is a 1/4-20 threaded tap that allows the Rifle Rest to be used with a wide variety of mounting solutions from Vacuummounts.com.  The Rifle Rest comes in two standard configurations, the V-shaped mounting accessory by itself, and the V-shaped mounting accessory with an included 1"
polycarbonate ball with 1/4-20 threaded post.  When coupled with a suitable mounting solution from Vacuummounts.com, the Rifle Rest provides a steady platform for resting the barrel of a rifle during target practice or while hunting.   

Although the name implies use with a rifle, the Rifle Rest also makes a fantastic stable rest for spotting scopes, cameras with telephoto lenses and video cameras.  Because there is nothing that has to physically screw into your rifle, camera or video camera, the Rifle Rest offers rapid support without damaging or marking the surface of your rifle, spotting scope or camera.  The sure-grip rubber surface prevents slippage, offering a firm, fixed stand to maximize your shooting or spotting activities.
